EAP – Employee Assistance Program

Mental health challenges at work rarely appear overnight. Stress, exhaustion, conflict, personal crises, or family difficulties usually develop gradually—manifesting first as absences, withdrawal, or declining performance. Research shows that around 15 percent of all sick days in Germany are linked to mental health issues, highlighting just how widespread the problem is.

What organizations need in these situations is accessible, external support—completely confidential for employees, with immediate availability, and outside of internal channels. That is the framework I provide.

External. Confidential. Immediate Access. Directly available.

What I offer

Typical concerns include work-related stress, workplace conflict, burnout, and personal or family crises. The focus is not only on the root cause of the difficulty, but also on how it manifests and where meaningful change can happen.

I have been supporting individuals through professional, family, and health-related crises for over twenty years—in individual psychotherapy, psycho-oncology, and for the past eight years specifically within the EAP format.

Sessions take place at my practice in Eschweiler or online via a fully GDPR-compliant platform. If required, I can also provide on-site sessions at your premises, provided a suitable and private setting is available. The standard format typically consists of five sessions.
All consultations are strictly confidential; no conversational content is ever shared with the employer. Organizational billing and accountability are clarified in advance, with practical arrangements in place to guarantee anonymity.

Who this is for

This service is designed for organizations that take mental health seriously and want to provide their employees with straightforward access to professional support—long before strain leads to absenteeism.
