How it works

Write to me at sc@praxiscollip.de in a few sentences: what brings you, roughly where in the world you are, and when you could usually meet. You do not need to explain everything in writing. I answer within a few working days.

Fifty minutes, by video. It is there to understand what you are bringing and to find out whether this way of working suits you. It commits you to nothing.

After that, most people meet every week or every two weeks. Some come for a handful of sessions around a particular question, others stay much longer. That is decided as we go, not in advance.

Online sessions are open without further ado to people living in the EU or Switzerland. As things stand, that is the area my professional liability insurance and the legal framework I work under cover.

If you live elsewhere — including the United Kingdom — please write to me before booking and say where you are. We will then clarify, before a first session, whether and in what form I can work with you. I would rather have that conversation first than cancel afterwards.

I am based in Germany (Central European Time). Say in your first message which hours are realistic for you; appointments are agreed in your local time as well as mine.

Sessions run on ecosero, a German video service certified for medical consultation under German law. Nothing needs to be installed: you receive a link and open it in your browser. Audio and video are encrypted and travel directly between us wherever possible. There is no recording function. A quiet room and a stable connection are all you need.

You receive an invoice by email, either after each session or monthly. Payment is by SEPA bank transfer in euros, which within Europe is usually free of charge.

German statutory health insurance does not cover this work, and insurers outside Germany are unlikely to reimburse it. If the fee stands in your way, say so. Something can usually be arranged.

Appointments are held for you personally and can rarely be filled at short notice. Cancellations up to 48 hours before the session are free of charge. Within 48 hours, or if you do not attend, the full fee applies.

Everything said in a session stays there. In Germany this is not only professional practice but criminal law: section 203 of the German Criminal Code binds me to secrecy. Nothing is passed to family, employers, insurers or authorities unless you release me from that in writing, or the law compels me.

This is not crisis or emergency care, and it does not replace medical or psychiatric treatment where you live. I do not diagnose and I do not prescribe medication. If you are in acute danger, contact your local emergency services.

Sessions are provided from Germany and governed by German law. Whether working with a practitioner in another country is right for your situation is worth thinking through, and I am glad to do that with you before we start.
